Ta da.... done

TA DA... The baby quilt is done.  Its been done for a while And I thought its time to put it up for show & tell.
The hand quilting took the longest to do. I don't claim to be real good at it,  nor do I think a baby will really care. For those interested.. I used a warm & natural batting.. The original size started out as 39 1/4" x 39 3/4" after it was machine washed and dried it shrank to 36 3/4" x
37 1/4". I like the puckery (is that a word ?) look... like the old quilts. I have a few puckers myself but they don't look nearly as good on me.... LOL

  1. Your baby quilt is beautiful and handquilting makes it extra special. That fluffy look is extra soft not like machine quilting that fills hard to the touch.

Take time to handquilt - you will come to enjoy that part of the craft.
